FARMERSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 17-year-old from Amherst is facing charges after a female victim was injured in a fireworks mishap.
State Police were called to a backyard party in the Town of Farmersville. Troopers say Donald March had lit a multi-shot firework called the "Damned," and when it misfired, a shot went sideways and struck the female victim in the eye.
The female victim was airlifted by Mercy Flight to ECMC for treatment.
March has been charged with unlawful dealing with fireworks. He's due back in court later this month.
