KENMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A teenager will be arraigned Wednesday morning, on an indictment charging him with the murder of a Kenmore bar owner. The Erie County District Attorney's Office says 19-year-old Antonio Martin-Brown will face second-degree murder and petit larceny charges in Supreme Court.
Martin-Brown allegedly beat 62-year-old Vincent "Jim" Cottone to death on May 19th. Cottone was found dead at his Landers Road home. Cottone was the owner of Malone's Bar and Grill on Delaware Avenue in Kenmore
Police have not released what they believe is a motive in the murder, but say Martin-Brown and Cottone did know one another.
If convicted, Martin-Brown faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.
