On Saturday just after 8 p.m. Lewiston Patrol responded to South 9th St. for a report of a car hitting a pedestrian.
Upon investigation patrol learned that a blue Ford Taurus struck two 18 year-old males roadside and fled the scene. One male was transported to Mount St. Mary's for minor injuries.
Patrol later located the suspect vehicle southbound on Lewiston Hill. The 72 year-old male driver stated he realized he had hit the males but still fled the scene.
The driver was issued tickets for leaving the scene of an injury accident and has been submitted to the DMV for a driver's review.
