BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The U.S. Attorney says 10 people have been indicted in a west side drug conspiracy. The defendants are alleged members of a gang known as the Loiza Boys.
Those charged include:

- Jorge Quinones, 35
- Oscar Romero, 32
- Ellis Colon, 29
- Edwin Sanchez, 27
- Angel Sanchez, 45
- Raul Ramirez-Vargas, 39
- Josbel Garcia, 22
- Miguel Manso, 42
- Jose Rivera, 32
It is alleged the gang has been distributing cocaine and heroin on Buffalo's west side since at least 2009.
"These are the people that are supplying heroin to drug houses, who in turn supply heroin to drug addicts," said Dale Kasprzyk of the DEA."
Oneil Quinones, Jorge Quiones, Edwin Sanchez and Ellis Colon were previously charged in February after authorities seized over 450 grams of heroin, three firearms and over $70,000 in cash.
Eight of the suspects have already been arrested while two are still being sought by authorities.
The investigation, by the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force, involved the interception of telephone calls and the use of undercover drug purchases.
The charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life behind bars.
