HOLLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police arrested a woman on Sunday who they say admitted stealing a six-pack of Twisted Teas and two wine coolers from a gas station convenience store.
The owner of Jugheads/Sunoco on North Main Street in Holland called troopers to report three separate thefts of alcoholic-beverages. Surveillance video clearly showed a woman putting the items into her purse.
Police determined a possible name and address for the suspect, and while driving there, saw a woman matching the description leaving the home. Troopers pulled the woman over for minor traffic infractions and say while interviewing her, she admitted stealing the items.
Stormy Evans, 20, was arrested for petit larceny. Her passenger, 27-year-old Jamie Irwin, who is the registered owner of the vehicle, was given an appearance ticker for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both are due in Town of Holland Court at a later date.
