GOWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say a trooper pulled into the drive-thru lane of a Tim Horton's just in time to catch a drunk driver.
Authorities say on August 2 at 6 a.m., a trooper pulled into the drive-thru lane of the Tim Horton's on Rt. 438 in Gowanda and was informed by an employee that their last customer appeared to be intoxicated.
The trooper caught up to the vehicle and pulled over 20-year-old Bradley Jones after watching him cross the center line and drive erratically.
Police say Jones was indeed intoxicated, but he refused a breath test. Jones was arrested and charged with DWI.
He is due back in court later this month.
