BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police are investigating an afternoon shooting that left an 18-year-old man with serious injuries.
Homicide detectives were call to the corner of Edison Avenue and Weston around 3:15 p.m. on Friday, which is near the Langfield Housing Project, for a drive-by shooting. The victim was taken to ECMC and is listed in critical condition.
A neighbor News 4 spoke with says she is scared to walk outside, and adds the area has gone from bad to worse.
"Usually, you would expect kids to bury their parents. But it's parents burying their kids. That's sad," she said.
The victim was shot right around the corner from where 20-year-old Raymond Carmichael was found dead on Tuesday.
Police ask anyone who has information on Friday's shooting to call the confidential tipline at 847-2255.
