CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say a Rochester woman banned from Wal-Mart came to WNY and tried to steal items from the nationwide retailer.
Saturday afternoon, troopers were called to the Wal-Mart on Transit Road in Clarence after a woman left the store without paying for items. Security confronted the woman outside in the parking lot as she fled, and troopers say they found her at the nearby Delta Sonic.
Authorities say 20-year-old Traminique Porter had stolen around $700 worth of items. Porter was previously arrested for stealing items from a Rochester area Wal-Mart and instructed by the court that she was banned from Wal-Mart property.
State Police charged her with third degree burglary. Porter was taken to the Erie County Holding Center.
