ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force has arrested a 51-year-old woman authorities say was selling prescription drugs throughout Holley and Albion.
Diana Paone was taken into custody on Tuesday following the execution of a search warrant on Platt Street in Albion. Authorities say they had been investigating Paone for eight months and found various prescription pills inside her home, including hydrocodone, oxycodone and hydromorphone.
Paone is charged with six counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of fourth degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and nine counts of fourth degree criminal diversion of prescription medications and prescriptions.
She is being held in the Orleans County Jail on $25,000 bail. Authorities say they are still investigating and more arrests and charges are pending.
