BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo woman facing hate crime charges for a New Year's daystabbing appeared in city court for a felony hearing, Tuesdaymorning.
Suzanne Grover, 21, is charged with second-degree assault andhate-crime charges.
Police say she stabbed 29-year-old Lindsay Harmon in the eyeoutside Roxy's nightclub early New Year's day.
Prosecutors believe Grover attacked Harmon because of her sexualorientation.
Lindsay's father Michael Harmon said, "I'm just concerned abouther health, that's the only thing I'm concerned about. Everythingelse is just, I have nothing to say about that, so, what they do isjust, I'm just worried about her health and her well being."
Grover is due back in court on February 8.
