HANOVER, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 47-year-old woman was jailed after deputies say she drove drunk with an 8-year-old child in the car.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says Saturday at 6:45 p.m., deputies saw 47-year-old Patricia Lipowicz driving left of the center line on Alleghany Road in Hanover and then after turning straddle both eastbound lanes on Route 5 & 20.
Lipowicz was stopped and charged with felony aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right, unsafe lane change, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
She was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail after being arraigned.
