SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A caught-on-tape beating outside a local bar has gone totrial.
Jury selection began in the case against Joshua Holts. Witnessessay he shouted anti-gay slurs and attacked 48-year-old Scott Wrightoutside a bar in Springville two years ago. Holts withdrew hisoriginal guilty plea.
A judge ruled he would be compelled to give Holts a toughersentencing after reviewing post-plea information.
