DARIEN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Fire crews from three counties were called when a metal fabrication company went up in flames in Genesee County.
Fire broke out at M&M Fabrication on Rt. 20 in Darien around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Four people working inside were able to escape uninjured. Nine fire companies from Erie, Genesee and Wyoming counties responded to fight the flames.
Jeff Luker of the Darien Volunteer Fire Company said, "The size of the structure, as well as the construction of the structure, it's difficult to access and get inside safely to completely put the fire out."
There is no word on how much damage the fire caused.
