BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Three people were taken to the hospital Tuesday after a pickup truck collided with a tractor trailer along Rt. 63 in Batavia.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says the driver of the truck tried to pass other vehicles that had stopped for the tractor trailer, which was turning left. The truck slammed into the tractor trailer as it made its turn.
Charges are pending against the driver of the truck, who was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC. The driver's two passengers were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
All three are expected to be okay.
