BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The duration of a bakery strike in Buffalo continues to rise.
Twelve workers from Al Cohen's Bakery have been on strike for 20 weeks. They belong to the same union as the workers at General Mills.
The bakery makes frozen dough products that are used in supermarkets and pizzerias. On Tuesday workers picketed outside the bakery on Broadway.
Tom Bingler said, "This is about five members of this Local that have for principle reasons have been fighting for their jobs back here and the owners are not doing a damn thing to come back and help us out."
Bingler says the strike also has to do with the company pension plan and healthcare costs.
