BUFFALO, N.Y (WIVB) - Shortly after Isabella Tennant's funeral , News 4's Nalina Shapiro sat down with Isabella's mother, Crystal Walker.
Walker reached out to Nalina and wanted to share a chilling voicemail she found during the funeral. Just two weeks before she was killed, Bella recorded a message for her mother. It was a message from her daughter that she will cherish forever.
Bella Tennant says in the message, "My mom is so beautiful...mommy is you're hearing this, you're beautiful. And if I wanna be alive I would wanna be like you because your home is in my heart..."
Walker says it was almost like Bella knew, and left her this message to let her mom know she will always be by her side.
After hearing the message, Walker says, "My hair stood up on my arms and I ran outside and played it to my mom and she started crying and she said crystal she put that there for you I've never heard it before for two weeks and all of a sudden it just appeared on my phone.
She listened to the message during her daughter's funeral today and wanted to let everyone know that her daughter's words gave her hope and a sense of peace during of the most difficult days of her life. "Its just hard to say goodbye when you had so much planned so many things you wanted to do and its just ripped away, " Walker stated.
Walker says that nothing can bring her daughter back and she appreciates everyone's support.
She told me that she hopes John Freeman, Bella's accused killer, never sees the light of day again.
