He wasn't the only one hoping for a replacement, Jake Pettit had his bike stolen not long ago, "I paid about $600 for my old bike and I got this one for $60. I'm very happy," says Pettit.
The auction itself always goes quick, but it can be a fun experience for first timers.
After News 4's Anthony Congi asked Jesse Burns who bought a bike at the auction, if he has ever come to this auction before? Burns said, "No, first time and it's pretty awesome. Nice, quick, 20 bucks and I got a new bike. I like it."
Antonio says," People that know their bikes get real good deals. We have some expensive end bikes and people know it and they bid high on them.
