A Medina woman died in a collision Saturday night in Orleans County.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Ashley Morehouse, 28, was driving a car heading west on Oak Orchard River Road, when she failed to stop for a sign at Waterport Road in the Town of Carlton.
After Morehouse's car entered the intersection, according to investigators, a northbound vehicle driven by Lorrie Kuhns, 53, of Batavia, struck Morehouse's car.
Morehouse was pronounced dead at the scene by the Orleans County Coroner.
Mercy Flight brought Gary Weese, 40, of Batavia to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. An ambulance transported Dominic Amrheim, 4, of Medina, to Strong. According to police, both were passengers in Morehouse's car and Amrheim is her son.
An ambulance took Kuhns, and her husband Thomas, 61, to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.
Investigators are considering sun glare as a factor in this collision.
