BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Brian Tothero, the commanding officer of the USS Buffalo was in town to visit with veterans on Friday.
The USS Buffalo has been representing the Queen City on a mission that has taken it all around the world.
"Buffalo has a long history of not only the naval service but military service. It's a city full of veterans. I wanted to come and share with Buffalo what we've been doing on the USS Buffalo, a fast attack submarine, out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii," Tothero said.
The USS Buffalo was commissioned back in November of 1983.
