BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - News 4's chief meteorologist paid a special visit to patients at the VA Hospital in Buffalo on Thursday.
Don Paul went as part of the Open House Project, which includes Valentine's for vets staying at the hospital. It's also a chance to meet and greet the patients and get to know them.
Public Affairs Officer for the VA, Evangeline Conley, said, "We have cards from school kids. It's great to honor the vets for their services and enjoy the freedoms we have today."
The Valentine's Day meet and greet has been a tradition at the VA Hospital for 35 years.
