BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - The Buffalo City Mission has plans to move into the former Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. building on Swan Street.
Plans were unveiled earlier this week for the $42 million plan for 545 Swan Street.
When complete the new facility would double the population served by the current City Mission.
Space would also be set aside for a chapel, classrooms, meeting space, and office facilities for agencies that focus on supporting the homeless.
The expansion plan goes before the city Planning Board on Tuesday, July 16.
