BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - There were three accidents in westerns New York roadways Tuesday morning that caused back ups.
A multi-vehicle crash on the Skyway closed down the roadway for a period of time during the morning commute. Just before 7 a.m. Buffalo Police say a crash, possibly involving six vehicles, was a chain reaction accident. Injures were reported and more information is expected on the crash, later Tuesday. The crash was clear around 8:35 a.m.
Also Tuesday morning, there was congestion on I-290 East because of an accident. NITTEC reported an accident caused congestion from Elmwood Avenue to beyond Colvin Boulevard. The accident was reported clear around 9:10 a.m.
I-190 South was backed up at I-90 West because a tractor trailer flipped over a guardrail. The accident caused traffic to back up during the morning commute, and was reported as clear around 8:50 a.m. NITTEC reported the back ups from River Road to Ontario Street.
