BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A dog that suffered serious burns has healed enough to return home with her family.
Rocsi was given to the Erie County SPCA in May after being rescued from a burning home and suffering severe injuries.
Gina Browning of the SPCA said, "We didn't know if she would pull through. Thanks to the veterinary care and donations from all over the country, today she goes home."
Rosci's owner gave up the dog when she could no longer afford to pay for veterinary care. But donations poured in, saving Rosci, who was reunited with her family on Friday.
Now Rosci will head home, thanks to the kindness of strangers.
