NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - There was plenty of father and child bonding going on Tuesday at schools in Niagara Falls. Tuesday morning was the third annual Dads Take Your Child to School Day.
The event is meant to showcase a father’s involvement in a young child’s education, throughout the district, and encourage men to have an active role in their child’s schooling, at all grade levels.
Father Craig Long said, “It’s good spending time with my daughter, see what shes doing at school, you know what I mean? My little baby, but its a good idea for the kids and the dads to get more bonding time.”
Program organizers say that the day allows family bonding time that many parents may not get to have because of work commitments.
