CATTARAUGUS INDIAN RESERVATION (WIVB) - The Erie County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit is investigating a single vehicle crash on Seneca Road, on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. The accident happened just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Jamie Stuart, 58, from the town of Brant, was traveling eastbound, when she lost control of her 1998 Jaguar XK convertible, which caused the vehicle to flip over and come to rest on its roof.
Stuart was examined by Gowanda Ambulance paramedics and Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Fire Company personnel and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
