BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The business day was disrupted for several workers downtown Monday afternoon.
A construction project at a building downtown started a fire, sending smoke into the Rand Building and the Lafayette Court Building. The buildings were evacuated as firefighters responded to the scene.
The situation as quickly brought under control and workers allowed to return to their buildings.
There is no word on the cause of the fire.
