BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Flames sparked at an apartment on East Amherst and Holden Streets, in Buffalo, around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The blaze was in a two-and-a-half story brick apartment building. The fire started in a first floor apartment and staye contained in that apartment. Damage to the apartment is estimated at $15,000.
Red Cross was called to the scene to assist two adults and two children. One firefighter was taken to the hospital with a shoulder injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
