WEST VALLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) - Friends of 18-year-old Anna Schroeder gathered at West Valley High School Monday night to remember a young life taken away too soon.
Schroeder was killed in a car crash last week on Route 219 in Ashford. She graduated from West Valley just three months ago as part of a class of just 35 students.
Senior Ken Dash said, "She was a very good friend. Very kind, helped with everything, supported everything, everyone. She was a very nice young lady."
Police are still investigating what may have caused Schroeder to cross the center line and collide with a pick-up truck.
