KENMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Kenmore Village Improvement Society says that Trader Joe's is going to open a store in western New York. There has been no confirmation from Trader Joe's on the store opening. News 4 is working to get a statement from the company.
"We're thrilled to have played a role in attracting Trader Joe's to the area, says Melissa Foster, President of KVIS. "Most private corporations do not choose to credit community groups with encouraging them to consider opening in their community, but the KVIS is confident that our campaign helped to encourage enthusiastic dialogue and awareness of the store."
