BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Broadcasters Association has released the list of 2013 Hall of Fame Inductees. Members of the News 4 team from the past and present will be inducted this year.
News 4 Operations Manager Nancy Sanders will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, with the Al Anscombe Award, for her long distinguished award winning career that spans four decades.
"I'm just delighted to be there with all those wonderful names in the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame, just beyond any of my dreams and you've made me very happy by honoring me with this," Sanders said.
Past members of the News 4 team will also receive awards. Bob Koop will receive the Memorial Award. Koop was a WIVB anchorman during the 1980s and 1990s. Janice Lieberman will receive the Buffalo Bob Smith Award, for beginning her on-air career at WIVB before moving up to national network duties.
Inside Edition National Reporter Les Trent, another News 4 alum, will be one of the masters of ceremony.
