BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Elmwood Village is hoping the owner of a dog that bit a child will come forward.
The incident happened on Sunday between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. near Rumsey Road and Lincoln Parkway in Hoyt Lake Park. The Elmwood Village says a white terrier or white terrier mix with no collar bit a boy.
Officials are not looking for the name of the owner or any retribution. But they do need to confirm with the dog's owner that it has had its shots. Otherwise, the boy will have to undergo painful Rabies shots.
