BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - One of the nation's largest single-day food drives is being held Saturday.
The 21st Stamp Out Hunger Postal Workers Food Drive goes until 5 p.m. Campbell Soup Company is teaming up with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) to help the number of Americans struggling with hunger.
The food will be redistributed to several local community food banks.
Those interested in donating items, are requested to leave non-perishable food in a bag or box next to their mailbox. They will be picked up by their letter carriers.
Last year, 70.5 million pounds of food was donated.
