Pasquale Denora, 81, was supposed to get on a plane at JFK Airport on Tuesday afternoon, but he never boarded his flight and was nowhere to be found.
Denora had been on a trip visiting relatives in Italy, but he cut the trip short, saying he did not feel well. Denora, a retired Bethlehem Steel worker, should have touched down at Buffalo Niagara International Airport Tuesday evening, and though his luggage arrived, Denora did not.
The New York Port Authority has video of Denora moving through Immigration. But he never made his flight. His son, Nick, admits Denora has gotten forgetful lately, but says it is not like him to not call.
"At this point he hasn't contacted any of us," Nick said. "He doesn't have a cellphone with him I don't know if he's lost documentation. I'm starting to suspect foul play or if he got mugged."
"The detective told me if he walks outside, he could get on a train, he could get picked up by a cab driver. They could take him anywhere."
