BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's a new era for New Era, the local cap company opened its doors at midnight to offer its newest licensed caps.
The company is now the official hat of the NFL. Over 100 faithful customers waited in line until the doors opened at midnight for a special release party. The first 50 people through the door received a special New Era football and a VIP discount card.
"It's a pretty big deal, new era is definitely the cap capital of the world and for us to be doing the NFL is a big deal for sure," says Michael Johnston.
In addition to the NFL, New Era is the official cap of Major League Baseball.
