ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - We're still a few weeks away from Fall Fest in Ellicottville, but the people in charge are laying down the law now.
Organizers say they'll have almost double the number of police officers on the streets come October 12 and 13. They'll be cracking down on underage drinkers and people walking around with open containers of alcohol.

Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Brian McFadden said, "A lot of those folks are either drinking on the way here or they try to get in the bar when they get here. That's the crowd that we really want to settle down and understand you can enjoy Ellicottville and respect what we do here. But if you don't you will be arrested."
Other changes include having live music outdoors wrap up by 11 o'clock, and the beer tents will close one hour earlier.
