ORCHARD PARK, NY (WIVB) - A 15 year-old Orchard Park male reported he had been beaten and robbed in a wooded area behind Woodland Drive, near Green Lake, around 8 p.m. on September 12.
The victim was beaten, choked unconscious, and robbed of his cash.
A investigation by Orchard Park Police resulted in the arrest of Charles Pellis, a 21 year old male formerly from Orchard Park, and Donald Reardon, a 22 year old male from Oswego.
Both individuals were charged with second degree robbery and assault, grand larceny, conspiracy, all of which are felonies; unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Donald Reardon was also charged with criminal impersonation for giving detectives a false name repeatedly. His true identity was determined as there were several felony warrants for him from Oswego, and he was scheduled to be incarcerated there.
Both offenders were arraigned and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center. The victim’s injuries were not life threatening. The incident is believed to be drug related and the investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.
