CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police need your help locating a suspected hit and run driver.
Authorities say a dark-colored pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on Main Street near Sheridan Drive Saturday around 11:30 p.m. when it made a sharp turn in front of a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction. The motorcycle slammed into the side of the truck causing significant damage to the vehicle. The motorcyclist suffered a serious leg injury in the crash and was taken by ambulance to ECMC.
According to police, the driver of truck stopped and picked up something in the road before fleeing the scene. The driver is described as a heavy-set man in his mid-20s to early 30s. He's about 5'10'' tall and has a goatee. State Police believe a female passenger may have also been in the truck.
