TOWN OF LOCKPORT, NY (WIVB) - The Niagara County Sheriff's Office reports that early this morning two pop bottle bombs were discovered laying in the street of a cul-de-sac in the Town of Lockport.
When the bombs were discovered one had already been detonated, and the other detonated soon after patrol arrived to the location.
One bomb was contained in a plastic Gatorade bottle and the second was in a two-liter pop bottle.
The Sheriff's Office warns that if anyone comes across one of these homemade bombs, please do not approach or touch them as they are extremely volatile. They say to call 911 or the Niagara County Sheriff's Office at 438-3393 immediately.
