WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Teams went bowling in Williamsville Sunday to support the Special Olympics.
Transit Lanes hosted the 10th Annual Bowl N' Blast Sunday afternoon. Teams got to bowl for 3 hours, plus enjoy soft drinks and pizza. The event was coordinated through Canisus College's Master of Science of Sport Administration Department. But the bowlers came from all age levels.
"We have college kids, we have graduate students, we have 15 special Olympic athletes here, that are kind of demonstrating what they do and the athletes that they are, we have professors, we have a wide range of individuals here. We have families, we have 'em all here," says Brent Graham of Canisius.
Sunday's Bowl N' Blast also featured raffles and awards for some of the bowlers.
