BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - SABAH athletes, special cartoons and local celebrity guests took over the First Niagara Center Sunday.
Over 600 individuals of all ages challenged by physical, cognitive, and/or emotional disability celebrated the 35th annual "Celebration On Ice."
This year's event paid a special tribute to the Nickelodeon Channel bringing about a guest appearance from the cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants.

While everyone skated on the rink, Nickelodeon themed songs including The Brady Bunch, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and SpongeBob played throughout the arena.
The celebration was held for SABAH athletes of all ages to enjoy as a result of their years worth of hard work and practice.
The show also honored the Buffalo Sabres Organization as the newest inductees for the SABAH Hall of Fame.
News 4's Al Vaughters and Former Sabre Andrew Peters were among the celebrity hosts of the show.
