BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - On Sunday, the Buffalo Sabres Alumni took on Colvin Cleaners for a fundraiser game at the Holiday Twin Rinks.
The friendly game was played to benefit the Paradise House, a 90 day living program for women struggling with addictions giving them a new start.
Debra Page gave back to the house that helped her in the past, "Paradise House gave me back hope. It got me back with my children, It made me want to be a productive member just seeing other addicts before me working there. I thought if they can do it, I can do it."
All proceeds benefit the family-style halfway house that opened in 1993.
A reception was held after the game at the Statler Lobby Bar.
