PERRY, N.Y. (WIVB) - The State Police bomb tech was called to a residence in the Village of Perry Sunday morning.
Perry Police responded to a complaint involving a woman being locked outside of her Wyoming County residence.
When the complainant told officials the male occupant of the apartment allegedly threatened to harm himself, they entered the building.
The male appeared to be in need of medical attention. He was later transported to Wyoming County Community Hospital for treatment.
The State Police bomb tech was called in when a device was found that appeared to be a bomb. Upon further investigation of the apartment, it was an active incendiary device that was found in the suspects bedroom.
Charges are pending and an investigation continues.
