BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A horrifying crime leaves a young Buffalo boy dead, and his step father charged with murder. Thursday, the tragic tale of Adbi Mohamud will be told to a judge.
An Erie County prosecutor says his step father, 40-year-old Ali Mohamad Mohamud, allegedly confessed that he tied up his step son, duct taped a sock in the child's mouth and beat him with a stick.

Neighbor Anthony Saysay said, "I couldn't believe it, except when I came outside and saw the cops and kind of realized something happened bad."
The family came to the United States as refugees from Somalia.
