BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A popular street hockey tournament was underway Sunday in downtown Buffalo.
Street Hockey Fest 2013 began this morning, with the 3-on-3 games. The tournament was open to boys and girls under the age of 17. Every player received a T-shirt and hat, and trophies were awarded to the champions of each division.
Food and drinks were available for purchase, and the Sabres Store was open all day during the event.
The one-day tournamentwas held on the surface parking lots between Mississippi and Columbia streets-across from Lagerhaus 95 restaurant, one block east of the arena.
