SALAMANCA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Sunday is the final day to enjoy a finger lickin' festival that's back in Salamanca for its second year.
This weekend, Veterans Memorial Park is hosting the Allegany Rockin' Ribfest featuring a world-champion barbecue competition, a car and bike show, and a family friendly 'kid zone.'
Of course, most visitors come for the ribs. Dean Wells from Hog Wild BBQ Company in Warren, Pa. said the ribs at the festival are tender and delicious. "Were doing barbeque like they did 300 years ago down in the south."
The event wraps up today, following the Swine Time Parade which kicks off at 2 p.m.
