PERRYSBURG, NY (WIVB) - The TLC Health Network has filed plans to build a new $23 million hospital in Perrysburg.
Business First reports that plans have been filed with the New York State Health Department for a facility to replace the former Tri-County Memorial Hospital that was destroyed by flooding in Gowanda.
The project would be built on an 8-acre parcel of land about a mile away from the original facility.
The Gowanda hospital was closed in 2009 following a summer flood. Patients have been treated at other facilities until a full assessment was made of health needs in the area.
