HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) - A manager at the Toys R Us in Hamburg was killed back in June. His death remains an unsolved murder. The investigation into his death continues and a benefit is happening this weekend.
Saturday there will be an event to support his family. On a website created letting people know about the fundraiser, there's a list of companies that already donated. One hundred and twelve local and national businesses have given, to help Larry Wells’ family live on in his memory.

Grainy security video at the Hamburg Toys R Us store shows a man walking through the store shortly after 4 a.m. on June 29th. Moments after he walks into the store office, the store's surveillance video goes blank.
Police say that's when store manager Larry Wells was stabbed to death.
The killer ran off, leaving behind one clue, this 2007 NCAA Florida Gators championship hat. Hamburg Police Detective Scott Kashino said, “The guy that committed this murder was wearing this hat inside the building. That's why it's important.”
Hamburg Police submitted DNA evidence found at the scene to a national database. Investigators say it doesn't match anyone in the FBI database.
This Saturday, family and friends are holding a benefit at the American Legion Post, on Abbott Road, in Lackawanna. The event runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $25, which includes dinner. The money will support his wife, daughter, and unborn child.
