BUSTI, N.Y. (WIVB) - A tractor rollover in the Town of Busti claimed a life Thursday night.
The Lakewood Busti Police Department says they responded to the scene on Orr Street Extension, after the victim's wife became concerned about why she was unable to contact him. She and a family friend went to the scene, found the accident scene and called police.
Police say 60-year-old James D. Hall was operating a tractor towing a brush hog on a narrow dirt road near a small ravine. The vehicle left the road, for an unknown reason, and the victim was ejected off the tractor as it rolled down the ravine.
Police say Hall was killed in the accident, and pronounced dead on the scene.
