BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Zoo is hosting a Zumbathon Sunday to raise money for a new polar bear exhibit.
The event benefits the "Our Bears Belong in Buffalo" campaign, where participants will dance for two hours.
The Zumbathon will take place in the Zoo's Children's Resource Center (CRC).
Five licensed Zumba instructors decided to host the event after they heard about the campaign that is raising money for the new "Arctic Edge" polar bear exhibit.
Over 100 people will get their groove on at the sold out event. In addition to dancing and music, there will also be a basket raffle, refreshments, Luna t-shirts for sale and much more.
