BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - If you're looking for a job, Fortune Magazine says you can't do much better than Wegmans.
Fortune has ranked the supermarket chain the fifth best company to work for in the U.S. Wegmans has ranked high on this list every year since it first came out in 1998. And workers say it's easy to see why.
Part-time employee Al Paris said, "They take care of their people; they worry about them. The people they tend to hire like themselves so they take care of the customers, which I think one of our big strong points is. Cause we treat people like we want to be treated when we're customers."
Service desk team leader trainee Will Clarkson added, "The fact that we have a family atmosphere, a family-oriented atmosphere. When we work in our departments it's a family, not necessarily just working with your colleagues. It just creates a wonderful work environment that everybody definitely enjoys when they come into work everyday."
